Finding the Best Business Coaching Training 101 “Why Be Good, When You Can be Great!”*
62Being an experienced business coach and working with some of the best business coaches in the past years has given me the idea to write this. There are many people in the business world looking to better themselves, make better contacts, work on bigger and better deals and make more money. What we will find out is that money is in direct relation to service, and those that serve the most, make the most. If you want to make more money, look to solutions of service.
Those out there that are new to business coaching can be easily sold by sales people and business coaches that might not necessarily fit their wants and needs. Like coaches for sports, not all are created equally. Some coaches will get you a loosing season and others will make you a champion.
Why You Need One
First off, no one needs business coaching training. You deserve it. We send our children to school and for the majority of their youth they have teachers, coaches and mentors. Their learning pace is rapid and they grow at an immense rate. But, after school is finished the majority of us no longer have teachers or coaches and our learning rate declines on a rapid rate. It is not that we don’t have the ability to learn at the rate children do, it is that we do not apply ourselves like them. Think about it, the most successful people in the world all have coaches or mentors. Tiger Woods has a coach, Michael Jordan has a coach, and the most successful business people in the world have or had a coach or mentor the majority of their lives. It is no different for you. If you want to become better. If you want to become great. If you want to become more effective in your life and business you need a coach to lead the way for you.
How to Find a Great One
Og Mandino is one of the best selling sales authors that has ever written. Anyone that is anyone in sales has read his books and applied his methods. In his book ‘The Greatest Salesman in the World’ it states that experience is like fashion is disappears with time, principles endure. What he means by that is that principle are the foundations to not only business but life. If you establish great principle then all else will begin to fall in your lap over time. This also applies to business coaching training. First, and foremost look for trainers with ethics, morals and principles. You will begin to understand why this is so important and absolutely the most important quality to look for in a mentor. Then experience is great after that. Remember ‘birds of a feather flock together’ and if you are being coached by a crook you will become one. Remember the Enron conspiracy. That is what happens when principles are overlooked.
Best wishes to you finding your business coach and trainer.
